contamination of zanjones in Palmira
The zanjones in Palmira can be used for recreation, but the lack of public awareness has contaminated them.
With the growth of the city, many industries were established in the protection zones of the zanjones, causing them to be used as dumping sites for solid and liquid waste.
it’s necessary to do something to restore the zanjones to good use for protect its waters and help the environment.
it's wrong to cause these lakes to be used as dumping sites for solid and liquid waste, and people say it doesn't matter and it is obvious that we cannot agree with them.
Palmira does not have many parks or green areas and well-managed ditches could generate corridors so that people can walk and enjoy the water resource, "said the teacher, stressing that to achieve this it is necessary a comprehensive work that involves all entities related to their management such as the CVC, the municipality, Aquaoccidente, the community that is the biggest polluter and the universities.
I strongly believe, we have to do something to stop with this, we should't afford the pollution grows more and more because it's going destroy our zanjones it's gonna affect us the people, therefore we should take care about our zanjones, and be more aware of what we are doing
